Honoring Donors
The advancement of St. John’s Health is possible because of donor generosity. To express our thanks, we offer special membership to donors who are committed to the mission of St. John’s Health Foundation.
St. John’s Health Foundation and its growing levels of philanthropic support of the hospital are all thanks to donor leaders who paved the way to ensure our future. Addie and Ted Donnan, Pike and Sue Sullivan, James Eden, David Stokes, John Valiante, Shirley Cheramy, Ed Liebzeit, and Gloria Newton are some of the generous leaders who made our work possible.
Our Foundation’s original donor societies named after the Donnan and Sullivan families have been incredibly successful in encouraging generous lifetime and legacy giving. With increased levels of giving two decades later, our board felt donors should be recognized for the higher levels of commitment being achieved. To respond to this and continued future growth we have changed our donor recognition societies in the spirit of all who came before us, to a collection of circles from Bronze to Platinum. We are so grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank those involved in this work.
Friends of St. John’s Health
Membership offered to donors who make annual gifts of $2500+. Membership benefits include:
- Acknowledgement in St. John’s Health Foundation impact report and St. John’s Health donor signage.
- Invitation to the annual Summer Soiree donor party.
St. John’s Health Leadership Circles
St. John’s Health remains independent with a wide breadth of primary and specialty services in large part thanks to donor philanthropy. Leadership circle membership is offered to donors with significant levels of lifetime giving:
Bronze Circle: $100,000+
Silver Circle: $250,000+
Gold Circle: $500,000+
Platinum Circle: $1,000,000+
Membership benefits include donor recognition in the main hospital and impact report, annual luncheons with St. John’s Health CEO, and invitations to special events.
Legacy Circle
A legacy gift has a lasting impact on the future of St. John’s Health and its ability to care for our community. Membership offered to donors who include St. John’s Health Foundation in their estate plan or will. Membership benefits include donor recognition in the main hospital and impact report, annual luncheons with St. John’s Health CEO, and invitations to special events.
